Yesterday Stuff
We kept Caleb for a few hours yesterday. Though he'll likely deny it as a teenager, he chooses to wear this "hat." It's really half of a shape-sorting toy. For variety, he'll wear the orange half. It appears that he is Jewish and is wearing a yarmulke, although I've never seen one in neon green. I contemplated to which Jewish tribe he would belong, and then he showed me -- the tribe of Elmo, of course!
That I am not my own, but belong – body and soul, in life and in death – to my faithful Savior Jesus Christ. He has fully paid for all my sins with His precious blood and has set me free from the tyranny of the devil. He also watches over me in such a way that not a hair can fall from my head without the will of my Father in heaven; in fact, all things must work together for my salvation. Because I belong to Him, Christ, by His Holy Spirit, assures me of eternal life, and makes me wholeheartedly willing and ready from now on to live for Him.

Emily gave him a buzz cut yesterday. I suggested that she use his "hat" for a bowl cut, and even shave in the different shapes as patterns.
