April is a month of unparalleled beauty in the deep south. Flowering trees and shrubs abound, along with many varieties of flowers (if you planted any bulbs last fall).
Even the weeds (violets) are pretty.
And the beast? If you live here, you already know. It's the pine pollen. Everything is covered in gritty, yellow dust. Yuck!I hate for my car to look like this, and I really wanted to go through the automatic car wash today, but I knew that it would be a waste of time and money.
